As with everything else, the way you pay for stuff is changing. Google Pay takes your finances totally and makes them high-tech by encouraging you to merge all your accounts in one secure place.

The best part is converting your phone into your personal banking system, helping you to make payments or move money in the blink of an eye.

With the app-enabled, you can take advantage of contactless payment solutions in supermarkets, gas stations, hotels, movie theaters, and even some public transport—anywhere that accepts Google Pay. And you can send money to another person of course.

How to Use Google Pay Via Email

In iOS or Android, you can use Google Pay via Gmail to transfer money to any email address—even a non-Google address. Although services differ by region, you may also request or accept money from Gmail. If you pay or accept payment, your details are encrypted and you can quickly revoke access to your Google account from any computer.

How to Send Money Via the Google Payments Center Website

Even if you have an app installed on your phone, you may still want to visit the pay.google.com Google Payments Center on your web browser.
You can view your activity, send or request money, add or delete payment methods, view the subscriptions and services you pay for through Google Pay, and edit the list of addresses associated with your Google Pay account.

Here’s how to send money to someone on the Google Payments Center website:

  1. First, sign in.
  2. Select the Submit or request money button.
  3. Enter the amount of money, the name of the receiver, the email address, or the mobile phone number, and a note in the memo field to inform you of what the payment was for.
  4. Unlike businesses, individuals are not typically set up to take credit cards, so you may need to use a debit card to transfer money to an individual. If you haven’t linked your debit card to your Google Pay account, press the Add Debit Card button, fill in the details of your card, and tap Save.
  5. Then, if it all looks good, press Send, and you’re all done.

More Google Pay Features

Google Pay makes it easy to pay friends back so you don’t forget about it. You can also set alerts for recurring payments and requests in the app and on the website.
The newest feature of Google Pay is the ability to store concert tickets and boarding passes. When you order a ticket from different companies, you will be asked to save your ticket to Google Pay. You can then use your ticket or boarding pass by choosing Passes from the Google Pay app.
All told, you might find that contactless payment solutions like Google Pay are much more attractive and convenient in a pandemic than ever before. By using Google Pay to purchase your food, gas, and household products, you will reduce the risks associated with touching contaminated surfaces.
Google Pay is also expanding to Wear OS, formerly known as Android Wear. In the past, only U.S. and U.K. customers were  able to use Google Pay on their smartwatches, but they have now hit Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Poland, Russia and Spain.
Australians can use their NFC Wear OS devices with Opal to pay for single-ride tickets on some train and ferry lines.   If you add a card to your watch, you won’t need your phone to pay.  To get started with Google Pay on your smartwatch, please do the following:
